Lisa Gallagher
Theatrical Designer/Technician

Lisa Gallagher is a theatrical designer and technician based in Buffalo, New York. She is a current senior at the University at Buffalo pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a Design/Technology concentration. Through primarily working in lighting and audio, Lisa has additional experience in projection design, scenic design, technical direction, and stage management. Notable credits include UB’s Ride the Cyclone, for which she sound and projection designed in addition to mixing live microphones during performances. Her work on Ride the Cyclone was recognized by the American College Theatre Festival Region 2, where she earned first place in sound design and third place in projection design at the 2025 festival. Through ACTF she was also awarded the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Sound Fellowship, where she shadowed Broadway audio technicians and designers during the O’Neill’s past summer season. During her ten week fellowship, she also sound designed for the National Theater Institute’s Theatermakers Summer Intensive, a fast-paced program where college students write, rehearse, and perform new plays every week for six weeks.
